The handset uses a SIM card from WILLCOM to add smartphone capabilities such as transferring contact information from one handset to another; thus allowing phone calls and data messages to be made from any handset while maintaining the same contact information. The handsets standard specs include a three-inch LCD screen enabling high-resolution display, a two-megapixel camera with autofocus, and a battery pack that can be used for 11 hours. This handset also has a built-in barcode scanner and uses Windows Mobile 6.1, enabling business applications to be utilized for tasks such as ordering. It is scheduled for release in November 2008. Sharp aims to manufacture 100000 units annually.
