Streak 7 Android Tablet with OPL-2724 Laser Barcode Scanner

In this video we're going to demonstrate using a Dell Streak 7, 7 inch Android Tablet running Android 2.2 and a laser wireless Bluetooth barcode scanner with Spp (Serial Port Profile) in this case it's an OPL-2724. The same scenario works with many other wireless barcode scanners and RFID scanners available from Serialio.com. In this case we'll launch the List-In-Hand™ Mobile List application, which we'll use, it's available for free download at Serialio.com, on the Android Market, and other AppStores. To connect the Bluetooth scanner to Android use the Menu Connect option. To turn on the radio for the scanner, hold the button down momentarily, and the blue light will start to flash showing the radio is on. Tap the button on Android Tablet to Scan for Bluetooth devices, tap the scanner of interest and then enter the scanner's pincode. In this case the Bluetooth passkey is four zeros 0000, tap OK and thee Android Tablet is connected to the wireless Bluetooth scanner. You simply scan the item you want and Restock.com will look it up for you and show it in the List-in-Hand Mobile List application; it's that easy. Now suppose you want to wirelessly scan barcodes or RFID tags into any webpage, maybe you're own website or Amazon.com for example, you simply use the Extras, Go to Page and you enter the website's URL.
